When her 2 daughters reached teenage, her husband's income was not sufficient to support the family's needs. She 1st went to M'sia to work as a maid. Muthi came to Singapore in & after first 2 short employments (2mths & 1mth) she joined her current employer - a Chinese family, where she is taking care of and elderly couple, cooking local and other Asian dishes & performing household chores. She is dues to finish her 2-year contract with them soon, and is now looking for a new employer. Muthi wishes to work 4 more yrs here then go back & open a restaurant together with a few friends.
