Maid Introduction
Helper has a good knowledge and experience is caring for new born baby; when asked what she look out for when a new born 2 months baby cries, she was able to give specific steps of what she will check for – hunger, diaper, stomach pain (gassy or constipation), want to hug/play, too hot/cold, etc.
Helper is able to identify briefly what are the various development stages of a baby (e.
g.
teething begins at 6 months, crawling, walking, etc) and she said she will make close observation of the baby because every baby is unique.
When she saw baby trying to sit, she will help the baby to sit up and hands around the baby to make sure she does not fall.
When asked why she do that for the baby, she said that baby is learning to sit and it is important for helper to guide/help them to without compromising safety.
When asked why she said she will observe the baby closely, she expressed that employer is busy and so it is helper’s responsibility to share what has been observed because she spent most of the days with the baby – e.
g.
When asked why she took up caregiver course, she said that she felt it is necessary to take up relevance course in Singapore to enhance her skills and be able to practically apply her skill with confidence when caregiving infant.
Rachelle is suitable for expat employer who look to hire someone who with infant/toddler care and know a good spread of cuisines (Western, Korean, Asian) where helper can cook and make plan for.
Helper also can go groceries shopping independently.
