Marvic is a cheerful, energetic and positive helper who take pride in her job as a helper. She shared why employer hires helper is to give them work and not give them headaches, that is why helper will need to adjust to family’s changes as the family grows. When asked when the children quarrel and fights, whether she handled such situations before. She laughs and said they will have a helper-kids meeting. They will ask why are they fighting and who started first. If they refuse, then helper will wait until they do that. Once they do that, helper will allow them to continue playing. Helper will get involve or observe the play to see if they really patch thing up. If it is not genuine, they will make sure they forgive and forget by end of the day. Marvic expressed that the kids are very obedient and they (the helpers and children) shared very close bond with - she is grateful that the employer trust her/them to do the right things for their kids as she also treats them like her own.

Marvic’s husband is a cancer survivor and to be able to provide his medical treatment and family’s expenses, Marvic is determined and knew she had to work harder to be the sole bread winner. Her current employer like to continue to support her in finding good family who will also embrace her as part of their family, and they are ready to give reference. Marvic is heading for home leave to celebrate his son’s birthday, and thereafter return by to Singapore after 4 May to transfer to new employer.
