Maid Agency Introduction

We Have 35 Years Experience

Welcome to Maid Management Services Pte Ltd. (formerly known as Maid Management Services – Sole Proprietorship). At Maid Management Services Pte Ltd., people are our business. Founded in 1986, Maid Management Services Pte Ltd., is one of the longest serving and most trusted Domestic Worker agency in Singapore.

We are committed to provide the best helpers and caregivers for your household needs. Over the years since inception, we have successfully assisted and matched domestic helpers and caregivers for thousands of employers and many of them remain as customers. We specialize in the placement of foreign domestic helpers and caregivers mainly from the Philippines, Indonesia and Myanmar. As our valued Client, you enjoy access to our comprehensive range of Domestic Worker services, from problem solving to work permit renewals to travel and documentary arrangements for your Domestic Worker’s home leave. These services are available for as long as you employ a Domestic Worker from us. Engaging a Domestic Worker or caregiver is costly. If your Domestic Worker does not work out, a replacement will add to your cost. Worse, if she runs away, there can be no immediate replacement under Work Permit regulations.

We fully understand how frustrating it can be to experience Domestic Worker problems. Fortunately, many such problems are preventable. To minimize your risk, Maid Management Services Pte Ltd enforces three essential quality control measures:

    First, we personally interview and select the Domestic Workers ourselves. We then put our Domestic Workers through an intensive residential training programme to thoroughly assess their competence and suitability.

    Second, we match a Domestic Worker to your family’s requirements to optimize your chance of success.

    Third, if you experience problems, you can count on our professional counselling support to help sort them out.

Take confidence from our over 90% success rate and rest assured, Maid Management Services Pte Ltd will do all we can to ensure you succeed with your Domestic Worker because your success is our success.

Our Philosophy

Our experience of more than 35 years is your best assurance. Over the years since inception, we have assisted and matched domestic helpers and caregivers for thousands of employers and many of them remain as customers.
Building long-term relationship

At Maid Management Services Pte Ltd., people are our business. We are dedicated to serving you, and believe that honesty and transparency are the best policy towards building a long-lasting relationship that extends beyond the initial sale. Our commitment to developing long-term relationship is why over 90% of our clients are repeat customers.
Value-added service

As our valued client, you enjoy access to our comprehensive range of Domestic Worker services, from problem solving to work permit applications and renewals to travel and documentary arrangements for your Domestic Worker’s home leave. These services are available for as long as you employ a Domestic Worker from us. Each client has a dedicated service consultant and we believe in going the extra mile for both our employers and helpers.
Dedication You Can Trust

In striving to provide you with the best service level possible, we take pride as being the first Domestic Worker agency to be accredited with the ISO 9001 (international quality management) in 1995 and CASE TRUST accredited for good business practices in the year 2005. These testaments indicate our strong commitment towards excellence in service standards.

Exclusive Candidates (MDWs)

We take the selection process and training very seriously. Working closely with our overseas partners in the Philippines, Indonesia and Myanmar our commitment to a highly selective hiring process has allowed us to deliver the largest pool of selection of “exclusive” foreign domestic workers among all employment agencies in Singapore. Unlike at other employment agencies where candidate files are shared among multiple competing agencies, at Maid Management Services you will find exclusive candidates that you can’t find anywhere else.

Advance Placement Scheme for MDW

The Advance Placement Scheme is a pilot programme facilitated Ministry of Manpower to enable faster deployment of Live-in caregivers. Under this scheme, Domestic Worker Management being appointed is able to bring in Live-in caregivers to Singapore earlier and help them to find a placement with a suitable employer. This scheme will enable faster deployment and better patient-caregiver match through direct, face-to-face interviews during the selection process.

Deployment of Caregivers

Based on reports, most seniors in Singapore prefer to age at home but need help with daily life or support for health conditions. At Domestic Worker Management, we provide **personalized and cost-effective healthcare solutions** for your elderly loved one at home. Our caregivers are *carefully screened, trained, and equipped with the relevant skills to care for your loved one*. Most of our qualified caregivers are from the Philippines, Indonesia and Myanmar. For More Information, please contact our Placement Personnel at +65-63459940 or email us at maidms@singnet.com.sg

Caregiving Courses & Workshops for MDWs in Singapore

We are one of the very few agencies appointed by AIC to facilitate MDWs to attend a 2-part training under the Eldercare MDW Scheme:

1.Classroom Training - Before Employment(2days) and
2.Home Based OJT - After Employment(3hrs)

As an appointed agency, we can assist employers to register and apply a government grant ($200/yr) to cover part of the training course.

The Eldercare Foreign Domestic Worker Scheme enables employers to hire a pre-trained MDW who has undergone comprehensive training in eldercare. This ensures the MDW is equipped with the basic skills to care for their loved ones.

Training Topic Includes:

* Monitoring of vital signs
* Manage senior-related chronic conditions
* Communicating with seniors
* Assisting with personal care
* Helping with daily activities
* Administering Basic First Aid

For more information, please contact our placement staff at 6345 9940 or email us at maidms@singnet.com.sg

Deployment of New MDW

We provide deployment of new MDW from an approved source country or territory, which includes Indonesia, the Philippines, and Myanmar.

Transfer Helper

Transfer Domestic Workers are readily available helpers in Singapore. They are available for face-to-face interviews which give you, the employer, a better gauge and feel of the helper. These Domestic Workers can be deployed in your house typically around 1-2 weeks.

Direct Hire of MDW

If you plan to rehire your former Domestic Worker back from her country, Domestic Worker Management can assist you in processing the full documentation until the Domestic Worker arrives in Singapore.

Maid Passport

We can assist in processing documents to respective embassies, like Domestic Worker passport renewal, home leave documentation, etc.

Comprehensive Insurance Coverage

Domestic Worker Management can assist clients in purchasing of Domestic Worker's medical insurance and a $5K security bond. MOM Regulations require the employer to purchase medical insurance coverage of at least $15,000 per year throughout the MDW's tenure in Singapore. Employers are required to place a security deposit of $5,000. The bond is between you(the employer) and the Government of Singapore. The objective of the bond is to ensure that both you and your workers comply with the condition of the Work Permit.

Waiver of Security Bond

Employers are required to place a security deposit of $5,000. The bond is between you (the employer) and the Government of Singapore. The objective of the bond is to ensure that both you and your workers comply with the conditions of the Work Permit.

Waiver of SHN Fee of MDW

Renewal of Work Permit

Employers are required to renew your helper's Work Permit before it expires. MOM sends out Work Permit renewal letters 6 to 8 weeks before the permit expires. To ensure that the worker's insurance package (security bond, medical and personal accident insurance) is complete to facilitate Permit Renewal.

Home Leave Processing

Foreign Domestic workers going on home leave must ensure that their home leave papers are properly processed at the embassy in Singapore before departure. This will help to ensure a hassle-free return from their countries of origin to Singapore.

Our service for home leave processing includes guidance or application of waiver of foreign worker's levy. We also assist employers with the purchases of return air tickets at very competitive rates.

Training

Proper and adequate training is vital to the success of the MDWs in having the necessary knowledge and skills that they need to perform on their jobs. In an attempt to ensure and maintain a high-quality standard of MDWs, we have partnered with quite extensive training centres in the Philippines, Indonesia and Myanmar that are licensed and accredited with the appropriate government authorities. On-site visitations and observations are welcomed upon request. We have the appropriate facilities and capabilities to provide strict and relevant training to our MDWs to ensure that they are not only qualified but are also the best candidates.

After interviews, the selected and qualified MDWs that come from the provinces are then transferred to the training centre for accelerated training. They are required to undergo 30 days of intensive orientation and preparation to receive certification by the qualified assessor or trainer.

    Language proficiency course (basic English)

    Classes are conducted with usage of learning aids such as individual earphone and microphone to interact directly with the trainer, moral education and orientation on foreign culture and custom etc.

    Housekeeping

    Hands-on housework using modern equipment such as usage of vacuum cleaner, washing machine, and related knowledge in maintaining household furniture and appliances etc.

    Basic cooking class

    Hand-on training on basic Singapore cooking and operations of kitchen equipment such as electrical kettle, stove, oven etc.

    Caregiving for infant and toddler

    Unlike others, we observe the most efficient and cost-effective way to train the MDWs in host countries rather than in Singapore. Besides, training in Singapore can prove to be too costly and come with some limitations. Constraints such as time, mental adjustment and adaptation for the new arrival MDWs could pose a great challenge for them to cope and learn optimally.

    For those MDWs that require special skills training especially in looking after the elderly patients that require special care, we have already accredited with a licensed local provider such as Aaxonn Pte Ltd. which is an approved Caregiver Training Provider under Agency for Integrated Care (AIC).
