She started working in a garment factory in Indonesia right after finishing high-school. Looking for better opportunities she came to Singapore in - and has been working here since. She first finished a 4-year contract doing all-around housekeeping, daily cooking and marketing. Dewi then finished 2-year contract with another family taking care of a big house and learning more cooking - adding Chinese and Indian cuisines to her cooking experience. Dewi loves taking care of children, by her own admission, and she has taken care of 3 young kids for a French/Indian family for months, before they moved overseas. Dewi comes across as pleasant, polite and friendly with good English.
