Sri Larasati, or Laras for short, is the younger of 2 siblings. After finishing school worked in a shopping mall for 1 year. Then started work as domestic helper - cleaning 2 story house, cooking&markeing for 2 yrs. Husband was a farmer, so in she came to Singapore for work. Here she has completed 3 longer employments. First taking care of 5yr old child for 4 years, then taking care of newborn baby & yr old child, and finally helping & yr old kids with a British family. All along doing household chores, cooking and marketing. Laras has spent a year with her child and is now ready to get back to work. She is planning to work a few more years before coming back home. Laras comes across as polite & intelligent with good use of English.
