After completing a 3-year contract there, Mela had a short visit home, and in came to Singapore. Here she had 4 employers in 6. 4 years. Her first 2 employments were 5 months each - first taking care of 9mth old baby & 6yr old kid, cooking & cleaning, then taking care of the house and cooking with Chinese families. The employments were short as she has not adjusted to working in Singapore environment at the time and had communication difficulties. Mela worked w/ her 3rd employer 1. 6 years - taking care of 2 young kids, cleaning & cooking - before her employers left for China. Mela has been w/ her current employer 4 years now - she is doind all-around housekeeping & cooking daily.
