After finishing secondary school, she worked in various shops, sowing shop & bakery. She first worked as a domestic helper in Malaysia, where she took care of a 3yr old child, did housekeeping & cooked daily w/ a Malay family for mths before she came to Singapore. Here she had 3 employments in . 4 years of work. Ani first worked w/ a Chinese family in a Condo, taking care of 2 kids, 1 dog, cooking & housekeeping for 4. 3 years. Ani joined another family w/ 1yr old baby & 9yr old child in a big Bungalow, and has been with them for over 9 years. When the employers no longer needed services of a helper, Ani transferred to her current employer - where she has been taking care of 2 older kids, did some gardening, housekeeping, cooking & looking after a Rottweiler. She will be finishing her 2-year contract with them in May & is expecting to be available for new employment 2nd week of May. Ani comes across as simple, quiet but cheerful but lacking in use of English.
