Lastri has been working here for ~6 yrs in a stretch now -- 1st with a Chinese empl for 9 mths + & then with an UK/Indian empl for the last 5 yrs in a stretch where she's been required to speak English & a smattering of Hindi. Hence, her command of English is not up to the mark if she were to work with Caucasian expats. An apt example of her level of Eng is "my employer say i'm is hard working or i'm have free time i'm cek (check) out what i can do again". In her own words too, she says she is "hardworking, a good cook (for Indian dishes especially), good with kids, honest, responsible, works independently & is a friendly person". She is also afraid of dogs. She comes across as humble & with a willing-to-learn attitude.
