After finishing school, she helped her family on the farm & later worked 1yr in a clothes factory. Adel came to Singapore in Feb & had 3 employers so far. She had trouble adjusting to working as a helper in Singapore during her 1st employment of 2 months as she couldn't speak or understand English well enough. She is currently finishing a 9-month employment w/ an Indonesian/French family, but is being allowed to transfer since she can't quite handle 3 young kids at the same time yet. Although Adel has little experience looking after young babies & toddlers, she is willing to learn more than what she was already doing - changing diapers, checking if they are hungry, help maam bathe the baby sometimes.
