She is finishing her first contract here with a Chinese employer. In her 2 yrs here she has managed to save money for a deposit for a house. Her current employers speaks to her in Malay only & hence had little chance to improve her English. Nonetheless, we admire her cos she made it a point to speak to us in English & make herself understood. This entire bio data was briefed & compiled entirely in English & was then written by her in her own handwriting in English. Though she's a very quiet, meek & humble individual, she listens carefully & makes sure that she understands you. She is very hardworking, good with babies & kids, good in cooking & even ironing & laundry which is detested by most. She's also very resourceful -- cleans the fish pond well & looks into the well-being of the fishes, maintains the garden well, knows how to use fertilizers & is always on the lookout for areas for mosquito breeding. Plans to work another 5 yrs then go back & start a vegetable & fruit farm herself. Maya has to go back to visit her family in Aug & wishes to return in September '.
