Experiences

2 years (2009 – 2011) as helper cum working student in Antique, Philippines

Joyce worked in a flat with 3-toilets, 2-bedrooms, a living room, guest room and kitchen for a family of 5 with an 8-month-old and 7-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car.

5 months (2011 – 2012) as a nanny in the Philippines.

Joyce looked after a 3-year-old, daily welfare and wellbeing. In between, she looked after her child’s welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family.

(Nov 2022 – present) as helper in Manila, Philippines

Joyce worked in a 2-storey house with 3-bedrooms, 3-toilets, a living room, powder room, helper’s room and kitchen for an Indian family of 5 with a 12-year-old, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In her previous experience, she prepared and cooked basic Indian dishes, such as tandoori shrimp, biryani etc.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and/or infant and looks after her own since birth.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
