She went into an arranged marriage when she was . Husband is an electrician but he was not focused on his work & earned very little. So in she came to Singapore and had 2 employments so far. She first took care of 3 & 8 yr old children w/ local family for over a year, doing independent cooking, housekeeping and marketing. She has then completed nearly 4 year employment with an elderly couple - doing all around housework & errands, and, of course, cooking. During her time in Singapore Fifin has taken English classes and has learnt many local dishes, to add to her knowledge of Indonesian & Malay cuisines, and she likes baking.
