Erty has gone through hard times and disappointments in her life. She worked in a garment factory where she also met her husband to be. When she was pregnant with the 2nd child she learnt that her husband was involved in a relationship with her best friend and she too was pregnant. Dad had a stroke too & by this time her kids were 5 & 3 so she decided to come to Singapore to work. As for the next employer she says that they can trust her - her 1st employer had thanked her for taking care of their elderly grandma as “I can make her smile again”. She also comes across as an honest & independent person. Additionally, she can cook western and chinese food. She wants to work hard for a better future for her children.
