She is able to converse in simple English and Malay. Her first and only employer in Singapore was an Indian family, where she worked as a caregiver/helper for an epileptic patient.

Her employer’s household consisted of three adults: ma’am and two grown children. Her main responsibility was to care for a 39‑year‑old epileptic patient, assisting him in all activities of daily living, including showering, dressing, toileting, meals, mobility support, and monitoring his general well‑being. She ensured he took his medication on time and provided steady supervision to maintain his safety.

In addition to caregiving, she managed the housekeeping independently, keeping the home clean, hygienic, and safe, especially important for a patient with medical needs. She also cooked simple meals for the family, preparing dishes suitable for the patient’s condition and taste preferences. She handled marketing and grocery shopping on her own, ensuring the household was well‑stocked and meals were planned efficiently.

Elok had rested well and is now ready to embark on her next deployment. She is prepared to return to Singapore, to continue supporting her children and provide reliable service to her next employer.
