Maid Introduction
She has experience in elderly care, childcare, general housekeeping, and pet care.
From 2005 to 2009, Ambar worked in Singapore for a Chinese family of six living in a three-storey landed property.
Her main responsibility was caring for Ah Ma, who was physically healthy but had dementia.
Ambar kept Ah Ma company throughout the day, engaged her in conversation to keep her occupied, and assisted her with meals and medication.
Besides caring for Ah Ma, she also helped attend to the children by preparing them for school.
She handled general housekeeping duties including cleaning the house, laundry, and ironing.
She also helped take care of the family’s two dogs.
From 2009 to 2010, Ambar worked for another Chinese family of three consisting of Sir, Ma’am and their 4-year-old child.
Her duties included looking after the child, assisting with the child’s daily activities, cooking for the family, maintaining the cleanliness of the house, and taking care of one dog.
After about six months, the employer was relocated to Japan for work.
Ambar was asked if she would like to follow the employer, but she declined as she felt she could not adapt to the cold weather.
Ambar returned to Singapore again from 2011 to 2012 and worked for an Indian family for about five months.
She was initially promised a job scope focused on general housekeeping.
The employer then sent her back to Indonesia.
Ambar is currently seeking new employment in Singapore to support her husband and family financially.
She is experienced, hardworking, and familiar with household duties, elderly care, childcare, and pet care.
