Zahra is a domestic helper with 9 years of experience in housekeeping and cooking. She can prepare cuisines including Malay, Chinese, Indian, and Western dishes. Zahra has worked with families of diverse nationalities and is able to adapt to different household needs and is fluent in Malay/Indonesian.

2024 to 2026. The family of consisted of the couple and their 3 children aged 12,10 and 7. Zahra was responsible for cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, grocery shopping, marketing and childcare. For childcare, she would prepare lunchbox with rice meal, noodles or sandwiches, makes breakfast and assists in their school essentials. She cooked dishes such as Chinese, Malat, Thai, Indonesian and Western. This includes braised pork, baked salmon, steak, rendang, satay, chicken lemon grass, ayam pampa, curry, golden chicken and other dish they prefer. She finished her contract.

2022 to 2024. For an Indian - Punjabi family living in a 3-bedroom condo. Zahra handled cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, and childcare. She prepared Indian and Western dishes and cooks 3 meal including chapati, sabji, curry, biryani, samosa, fried chicken, dosa buttered chicken and other dish they prefer. She completed her contract.

2022 to 2022. For an Indian-Tamil family. She provided full-time childcare for 2 children aged 12 and 3, while managing household operations in a three-bedroom condominium. Responsibilities included cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, marketing, cooking, mostly Indian cuisines. Took on additional pet care duties when the family acquired a dog, which was outside the original scope of employment.

2020 to 2022. Shared room with a co-helper managing the household. Took responsibility for household duties including cleaning, laundry, ironing and cooking. Prepared a variety of dishes, including Chinese, Malay and Western dishes. She finished her contract.

2020 to 2020. The role ended after two months due to a mismatch in job scope, as pet care responsibilities (rabbit) were not initially disclosed. This resulted in transferring to a more suitable placement.

2019 to 2019. Her responsibilities included cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing and elderly care. She prepared a variety of Chinese and Malay dishes. Due to the demanding nature of dementia care, including physical aggression during the elderly’s condition, she experienced difficulty in continuing the role and requested a transfer after one year.

2017 to 2019. Responsible for household duties such as cleaning, cooking, and general household management. Prepared a variety of Malay dishes such as nasi lemak, satay, char kway teow, roti canai, beef rendang, bak kut teh, curry mee, kaya toast, and apam balik. She completed her contract.
