She had a short 9-month term in Singapore where she gained hands-on experience in newborn care, infant care, elderly care, and pet care. She understands and responds in limited English but is improving herself daily through practice and guidance.

  Chinese family of 4: ma’am, newborn boy, 16-month-old girl, and 80-year-old ah mah. She provided nanny care to the newborn and childcare to the toddler, ensuring their daily routines were well managed. She assisted ah mah with light tasks while respecting her independence. She also showered, fed, and walked 2 dogs, keeping them clean and active. Household duties included cleaning an HDB flat (2 bedrooms, 2 toilets) thoroughly to remove dog fur and odor, ensuring the home was hygienic and safe for the newborn, toddler, and elderly. In addition, she handled cooking and marketing, supporting the family’s daily needs.

 

Cooking 

She is able to cook simple Chinese food such as steamed fish, curry chicken, ABC soup, chicken rice, and fried kway teow. She adapts her cooking to family preferences and is willing to learn more recipes to expand her skills.

 

Readiness 

Idha is young, energetic, and motivated to improve herself further. She is eager to learn new skills, whether through employer guidance or self-study, and is excited to return to Singapore to work again. She looks forward to being matched with an employer whose household needs align with her experience and potential.
