She is able to converse in simple English and continues to improve her vocabulary through daily communication. Her main duties included preparing the children for school, fetching them home on foot, and supervising their after-school routines such as showering, naptime, milk feeding, and playground activities. She also handled housekeeping for an HDB 3-bedroom, 2-toilet flat and assisted Ah Mah with cooking and marketing. She assisted with medication management and accompanied Ah Gong for dialysis treatments three times a week. As Ah Gong was independent in his daily activities, she focused on monitoring his well-being and ensuring he attended his medical appointments. She also managed housekeeping for an HDB 3-bedroom, 2-toilet flat, assisted Ah Mah with weekend cooking and marketing, and washed the family car. Her responsibilities included assisting with transfers between bed and wheelchair, accompanying Ah Mah for toileting and showering, helping with dressing, feeding, medication, and repositioning. She also managed housekeeping for an HDB 3-bedroom, 2-toilet flat and assisted Ma'am with cooking. Through this experience, she gained confidence in providing care for elderly persons with mobility limitations.

 

Siti is able to prepare simple Chinese and Indonesian dishes and can adjust meals according to the employer's taste and dietary preferences, including less sugar, less salt, and less oil. She can cook dishes such as ABC chicken soup, fried rice, steamed fish, rendang, satay, nasi lemak, and ikan bakar. With her previous Singapore experience, she understands employer expectations and is committed to being a responsible, trustworthy, and dedicated helper for her next family.
