She gave birth to a daughter whom she loves and misses very much. It's then that Rubaiyah decided to come to Singapore to work as a helper, though she did not speak English then. While with her 1st employer, she took English courses and now speaks well enough. She already had experience in Housekeeping, Cooking, Childcare, and care for Infants. And now Rubaiyah can cook Indian food (curries, chapatti, dosai, etc. ) including vegetarian dishes, as well as Indonesian & local Chinese dishes & some local desserts for the kids. She intends to take additional skill dev't courses including business training and hopes to save up enough money to move back to Indonesia and finally be financially independent. Rubaiyah strikes as a diligent and responsible yet warm person, who likes cooking and is particularly fond of children.
