After High sch, driven to help her family, Erika searched on the Internet for employment agencies, attended a training course in H'keeping, basic Cooking & Baby-care then came to S'pore in Aug. 1st took care of an yr old‘Grandma’ who could only speak Hokkien. Erika persevered & learned the basics of the language in a short time & completed 2 yrs. Next, after a short & unfortunate stint with an abusive employer. 5 yrs, as both employers worked full time.
