The family left for Australia and gave her a reference; Vina worked for my family for close to 6 years. Our entire time during our stay in Singapore. We found Vina to be extremely competent at running a household and was a wonderful care giver to our children. We miss Vina’s sunny disposition and caring attitude and know she will be an asset to any employer.

The family left for Hong Kong and gave her a reference; Vina was a wonderful addition to our household for time she was with us. We were very sad to say goodbye when we left Singapore to move to Hong Kong. We had a 7 month old daughter who Vina showed so much enthusiasm and care towards. She is an excellent cook who thought creatively and had so many recipes up her sleeve! She also followed recipes really well when we wanted to try something new. She kept our house very clean and didn’t need any direction with organising her week. She took initiative and is a very trust worthy person.

-: She works with an Australian family for 1 year who lives in a 2 storey house. She looks after a 7 months old baby and does cooking and general housekeeping. Childcare was our number one most important aspect after I returned to work full time when my son was months old. Vina is truly wonderful with kids and we have been really lucky to have her look after our son. She is really fun for babies/toddlers to be around as she has a good sense of humour, plays lots of fun games with the kids, helps to reinforce learning through books, counting/ singing songs and she has followed our request to be firm with discipline when our son is misbehaving. Vina has taken it upon herself to organise a busy weekly schedule of playdates with other toddlers in the neighbourhood. We had planned to send our son to daycare around months or so but we haven’t bothered because he is kept so busy and social with all of the playdates/ playground/ botanic gardens/ other trips that Vina organises. We were really impressed how she made friends so easily with other helpers in our neighbourhood and expanded our son’s network of similarly aged children to play with.
Vina is a fantastic cook and really enjoys being in the kitchen. Her specialties are spaghetti bolognese (sometimes with a spicy delicious twist), chicken snitzels, spring rolls, fried rice, the tastiest green curries, crumbed fish, lots of different salmon dishes, salads, pancakes, juices, middle eastern dishes and she is an excellent baker.
