Experiences

1 year 9 months (Jan – Oct ) as a helper in the Philippines

Daphne worked in a 2-storey house with 3-bedroom, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 3 with a 3-year-old. Daily she cleans and tidy the house, do marketing, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean the kitchen and utensils after use, do laundry, ironing and folding, looks after the child welfare. In all these, she learned to adjust to employer’s needs, managed her work schedule and for her future employment, she hopes to save up.

(Nov – present) Stays home, spend time with her family and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and/or infants. Her local experience had taught her to better look after the child welfare.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. She has local dogs and cats at home, she would groom the dogs, fed them and clean the pet animals’ areas.



Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour.



2 years contract

She is aware that she will enter a 2-year contract.

In summary, Daphne is mature and ready to take on new challenge. She does housekeeping chores, willing to look after children and/or infant.



Others

Allergy to sea produce, such as shrimps, octopus, crabs and lobsters will develop itch, when consume in excess, but can prepare, cook and taste them, and need Cetirizine for relieve.
