2 years 6 months (Jun – Dec ) as a helper in Hong Kong

April Vida worked a 3-bedroom flat with a toilet, living room and kitchen for a family of 7 with a 4-, - and -year-old elderly couple with Alzheimer’s disease, colon cancer, heart problem, skin disease and hernia. Daily she cleans and tidy the house, assist employer with marketing, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean the kitchen and utensils after use, do laundry, ironing and folding, looks after the child and elderly welfare. In all these, she learned to adjust to employer’s culture, managed her work schedule well and for her future employment, she hopes to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes, new culture and to save up.

(Jan – present) Returns home, looks after her family welfare and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, and her ex-abroad experience taught her to prepare and cook basic Chinese dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and infant. Her ex-abroad experience had taught her to better look after the child welfare.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In Hong Kong, she looked after the elderly couple welfare.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets and he has pet dog at home, she would groom the dog, fed and keep clean the pet dog’s areas.



Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour.



2 years contract

She is aware that she will enter a 2-year contract.
