PRIYANGIKA'S journey as a housemaid began in Lebanon, where she was entrusted with the care of a Turkish family. She played an integral role in their household, helping to create a warm and inviting environment. This family consisted of a loving couple, an 18-year-old son, a 13-year-old daughter, and their cherished pets—a dog and a cat. PRIYANGIKA not only maintained the cleanliness of their home but also took care of their furry friends, grooming them and ensuring they were well-fed and content. She took charge of essential tasks such as grocery shopping, ironing, and cooking Turkish dishes to perfection. Her culinary skills will undoubtedly be a delightful addition to any household. Her dedication and warmth didn't stop at her job description. Over the course of 4 years, she became more than just an employee; she became a trusted friend to the family.

After completing her 4-years Contract in Lebanon, PRIYANGIKA returned to her home country, Sri Lanka, armed with a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the responsibilities that come with being a housemaid (2008-2012).

2 YEARS - ARABIC - SAUDI: A COUPLE & A INFANT (1 MONTH): FLAT (4 BEDROOMS & 4 BATHROOMS)

After her initial contract, PRIYANGIKA embarked on a new adventure, this time in Saudi Arabia, where she worked with an Arabic family for 2 years. Her main responsibility was to care for a 1-month-old infant, which was a significant responsibility. She fed, dressed, bathed, and administered necessary medication to the baby, treating her as if she were her own.

After completing her 2 years Contract in Saudi, PRIYANGIKA returned to Sri Lanka (2012-2014).

2 YEARS - SRI LANKAN - SINGAPORE: 3 ELDERS (60, 82, 89 YEARS): 2 STORIED LANDED HOUSE (4 BEDROOMS & 4 BATHROOMS)
PRIYANGIKA found herself in Singapore, where she dedicated 2 years to a Sri Lankan family. In this unique role, she assumed the role of a caregiver for 3 elders, aged 60, 82, and 89. 2 of these elders relied on wheelchairs, and PRIYANGIKA admirably managed to provide dedicated care to all 3 simultaneously. PRIYANGIKA'S devotion extended to maintaining the house, including ironing clothes, grocery shopping, cleaning, and managing the garden of a spacious 2-story, 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom landed house.

What truly sets PRIYANGIKA apart is her ability to form deep connections with those under her care. In Singapore, she became not just a housemaid but also a cherished companion to the elders who were otherwise alone. Her friendly demeanor and loving care provided them with much-needed emotional support.

After her successful 2 years tenure in Singapore, PRIYANGIKA made her way back to her home country (2018-2020).

1 YEAR - SRI LANKAN - SRI LANKA:

In addition to her housemaid experience, PRIYANGIKA spent a year working as a Sampling Assistant at SINTEX, a garment company in Sri Lanka. This experience honed her sewing skills and gave her valuable insights into garment production (2017-2018).

2 YEARS - SELF-EMPLOYED - SRI LANKA:

After her episodes in abroad and her stint in the garment industry, PRIYANGIKA and her husband ventured into an entrepreneurial journey. They ventured into the restaurant business, running their own establishment for 2 years. PRIYANGIKA'S dedication was evident as she prepared all the dishes herself, showcasing her exceptional culinary skills.

Unfortunately, due to the challenging circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, they had to close their restaurant (2020-2022).

A Culinary Enthusiast: PRIYANGIKA is not just a housemaid; she's renowned for her culinary skills throughout her village. Currently, she's working for a catering service, showcasing her expertise in the kitchen.
