Ida also managed the housework like cleaning, laundry, ironing , grocery shopping and wet market and cooking ( she went for Culinary Art classes) . She can prepare breakfast meals like pancakes drizzled with honey and blueberry, breakfast burrito, homemade curry puffs, homemade dumplings, samosas, steamed pau; she prepares 3-4 dishes for dinner like cereal butter prawn, beehon, stir fry dishes, nasi lemak with all the trimmings , salmon/beef tacos, salmon sushi, naan bread, chicken spaghetti with green salad, beef burger, Thai basil chicken, fried rice , pumpkin soup, yam ring, spaghetti carbonara, she can make egg tarts, crepe cakes etc.

Mar to Jan for a Chinese couple , her employer was pregnant when she joined and living in a an HDB. Her employer gave birth 4 months after she joined. She would bathe the baby, changing diapers, feeding and sterilizing milk bottle using the steriizer etc. Ida also did the house cleaning. laundry , cooking, grocery shopping and going to the wet market. She cooked for her employers-. herbal chicken soup, stir fry vegetables, ginger chicken, beehoon, soup dishes. When the baby was 6months old, the family decided to take care of the baby on their own as her lady employer was not working. She also did the housework and cooking meals like stir fry dishes, beehoon, steamed fish, fried rice, soup. She transferred around the pandemic time.
