Mary Ann is used to hard-earned money. She also works as a caretaker of other people's livestock, like feeding the pigs, cleaning the pig shelter, and watering. Mary Ann is hardworking and patient. She loves cooking, and she is able to follow recipes. She is suitable for taking care of newborns and young children. She knows how to use electric appliances and is willing to learn. They had 3 children aged 5 y/o, 3 y/o, and a newborn baby when she started working. She always washed her hands before handling the baby. She fed the baby on time. She knows how to bathe a baby in a gentle manner. She knows how to change a diaper, and she does it regularly and makes sure the baby sleeps safely on their back. She knows how to sterilize and clean/wash the baby bottles, and knows how to prepare milk for the baby. She can teach them how to read and write. She sings nursery rhymes like, The Wheels on the Bus, Old McDonald, " ABCs, and many more. She teaches the kids how to read the ABCs and 123s. She did the cooking too. She cooks mainly Filipino dishes like Bulalo (Beef soup), Lumpia (Spring Roll), Sinigang (Sour Pork/Fish Soup), Tinolang manok/isda (chicken/Fish Soup), Tortang Talong (Egg with Eggplant omelet), Arroz Caldo, Pinakbet (Stir-fried mixed vegetables), Fried fish/chicken, Spaghetti, Menudo, Afritada, Adobo, Beef steak (Filipino style), Fried noodles/beehoon, Chicken with coconut milk, and many more. She also cleaned the house. She knows how to clean the house, like sweeping and mopping, washing toilets, washing clothes, and ironing, and gardening. After 8 years of working, her service was no longer required as the children were already grown up and were becoming more independent. And she was pregnant also with her 4th child. She bathed her, assisted her in using the toilet, cleaned her after her business, in the evening she wore diapers, and was removed in the mornings, massaged her, gave her medicine, and brought her to see the doctor if necessary. She did all the household chores, cooking, marketing, and laundry. There was an opportunity that she can work nearer to her own home. Her main job was cleaning and cooking.
