I would have kept Ari with me if not for the fact that I have an existing helper as well. I recruited Ari mainly because she has been employed for a long time with one employer prior to joining us. He was a diabetic, hence healing was slow. Ari is an independent helper who is meticulous in housekeeping as well as bookkeeping - she kept all bills, receipts and petty cash expenses in order. My children (now 21 and 16) are very fond of Ari - they often seek her out at their granddad's place, and pester her for her cooking, which is simple but hearty, to which she has always obliged. To be honest, I appreciate her because she speaks her mind and does not hold grudges. I hope Ari will be able to locate an open-minded family, who will treat her with kindness and fairness, and will grow to appreciate her like my dad and I did.
