Maid Introduction
From 2009 to 2011, she worked as a nanny in Jakarta, Indonesia, for an Indonesian Chinese family living in a 4-storey landed house. The household consisted of 5 adults and 3 children, and there were 4 helpers employed in the home.
Cika's main responsibility was to care for a 5-year-old boy and assist with his daily routines. Her schedule was as follows:
- Woke up at 6:00 AM to get herself ready
- Prepared the boyโs lunch box and school essentials
- Helped the boy with breakfast and ensured he left for school by 7:30 AM
- Accompanied the boy to school (transport provided by the driver) and waited until school ended at 10:00 AM
- Brought the boy home, changed his clothes, played with him, fed him lunch, and put him down for a nap
- Accompanied the boy to tuition from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Returned home by 4:30 PM, showered and fed the boy dinner, played with him until bedtime
- Put the boy to bed at 8:00 PM
- Completed tasks such as washing and ironing the boyโs clothes, then went to bed around 9:00 PM
During her free time, she also helped the other helpers with general household chores.
She is currently in Indonesia and can be video-interviewed anytime prior arrangement.
