She has worked in Singapore for a total of 7. 2 years, mainly caring for elderly employers - one immobile ah mah and one ah gong with dementia. She is able to converse in fair English and is fluent in Malay.

Her first employment was with a 92‑year‑old bedridden ah mah. Rantani provided all activities of daily living including showering, dressing, changing diapers, toileting, feeding, administering medication, and escorting her for medical checkups. In addition, she cleaned and maintained a landed property, did gardening, ensured the house was well maintained, kept floors clear of obstacles, maintained open pathways, and ensured proper ventilation. She also cooked soft meals suitable for ah mah, taking into consideration her health and age.

Her second employment was with a couple of elderly, focusing on ah gong who had dementia. She assisted him with showering, changing diapers, feeding, toileting, administering medication, and accompanied him to a dementia care centre for structured activities. In addition, she handled cooking, cleaning, laundry, and marketing, keeping the home environment tidy and safe. She has learnt to prepare Chinese and Indonesian cuisines such as rendang, curries, sambals, steamed dishes, fried items, soups, and many home‑style meals. She is also able to cook nutritious meals for the elderly, ensuring food is suitable for their health and easy to consume.

Rantani is now ready to return to work in Singapore. Her child is safely cared for by her family, and she is at ease to commit fully to her employment. She is motivated to continue supporting elderly employers with patience and dedication, while also contributing her skills in cooking and household management to ensure a comfortable home environment.
