From 2015 to 2016, she was employed by a Chinese family of five comprising Sir, Ma’am, two sons aged 13 and 14, and a 90-year-old Ah Gong who was partially deaf and partially blind. Ah Gong was independent and only required assistance when he called.  She also administered medication for Ah Gong as part of her caregiving duties. Each day, she asked Ah Gong and the boys what they wanted to eat and prepared meals according to their requests, ensuring the food was suited to their tastes while balancing variety and satisfaction. The dishes include rendang, steamed fish, steamed eggs, porridge, fried rice, pork rib soup, stewed pork, curries, sambals, and other home-style dishes. In addition, her responsibilities included preparing the boys uniform, socks & shoes for school and providing them meals after school. She managed household chores such as cleaning a condominium unit with 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets, performing general housekeeping, cooking, marketing, and washing two family cars.

Intan is eager to return to Singapore to continue her career as a domestic helper. She is motivated to earn money to support her growing children and is committed to working diligently for her future employer.
