Maid Introduction
From 2010 to 2013, she worked in Saudi Arabia for an Arab family of nine adults. Her duties included preparing the children for school, serving lunch, supervising garden play, assisting with showering, and settling the children into bed. She also managed housekeeping, cooking, and gardening in a two-storey bungalow with eight bedrooms and eight toilets. She managed medication for high cholesterol and heart ailment, assisted with showering, dressing, and toileting, and accompanied Ah Mah to the mosque, social visits, and clinic checkups. She also handled cooking and marketing for the household.
Sumenah enjoys cooking and is able to prepare Malay, Arabic, and Indonesian home-style dishes. She cooks according to family taste and texture preferences and has experience preparing meals for children and the elderly, mindful of dietary needs. Her range of dishes includes rendang, ayam lemak chili api, ikan balado, sambal ayam merah, steam fish, dhall, briyani, curries, and more. She has not cooked pork before but is willing to handle and learn.
