She has accumulated 6. 5 years of solid experience in elder care and disabled care, working in Syria, Dubai, and Singapore. She is able to communicate in conversational English and can read and write simple English.

 

From 2009 to 2011 in Syria, she served an Arab family of two consisting of Sir and a disabled elderly Ma'am. Her duties included administering medication, diapering, daily hygiene care, dressing, and toileting.

 

From 2024 to 2026 in Dubai, she worked for an Arab family of two, Ma'am and a 60-year-old Sir who was a stroke patient. She assisted with medication, mobility support, supervised showering for safety, and prepared clothing. In addition, she handled housekeeping for a 2-storey landed property (2BR/2T).

 

From 2024 to 2026 in Singapore, she was employed by a Chinese family of two, Sir and a 78-year-old Ah Mah with dementia. She supported Ah Mah with breakfast and medication, assisted with personal hygiene, accompanied her to hospital visits, and provided night care while respecting her independence in showering. She also cleaned an HDB flat (3BR/2T) and rarely cooked.

 

In terms of cooking skills, Daerih is able to prepare simple Indonesian and Chinese dishes tailored to the taste and preference of elderly and adults. She adjusts seasoning, texture, and cooking style to suit health needs, ensuring meals are less oily, and less salty when required. Examples of dishes she can cook include chicken curry, beef stew, stir-fried pork with potatoes, and steamed fish.

 

Daerih is eager to return to Singapore to continue working. She is responsible, and dedicated to caregiving, with proven experience in elder and disabled care across different countries. She is committed to providing attentive service and supporting families with both care and household management.
