The employer moved to live with one of his children and so she transferred. She also managed the housework like cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and cooking. Dorothea would cook meals like adobo, bee hoon, pasta, and macaroni soup. spring rolls, tinola ( chicken soup), sinigang, stir fry vegetables.

There was an old couple who lived with them but they did not get along so she was released. She joined when the eldest was about to the born and another baby came along after a year.
