  Arlene is an experience nanny and househelp working in the Middle East. While cooking was not her primary responsibility, she occasionally prepared chicken curry at the children’s request. She completed her contract. Her responsibilities included cleaning, laundry, ironing, washing dishes, vacuuming, and even car washing for two vehicles. Most of the time, employer’s wife handled the cooking, sometimes Arlene prepared chicken adobo and chicken curry upon request. She found it challenging to adapt to the household lifestyle, and she had no private room and slept in the living room.
  
  Arlene is good at traditional Filipino dishes such as adobo, paksiw, menudo, dinuguan, aftritada, pancit, and coconut milk-based fish dishes, as well as spring rolls. She can also follow recipes to prepare other meals as needed.
