  Arlene is an experience nanny and househelp working in the Middle East.
  
  Jul 2018 - Feb 2023, she was employed in Saudi Arabia, where she cared for a family of seven, including five children aged 16, 14, 11, 6, and 2 when she began. Residing in a spacious 10-bedroom bungalow, Arlene had her own private room and served as a nanny with particular focus on the youngest child, who had special needs and was nonverbal. In addition to providing care, Arlene tutored the children in English and managed household tasks such as preparing breakfast and school snacks, cleaning, laundry, and ironing. While cooking was not her primary responsibility, she occasionally prepared chicken curry at the children’s request. She completed her contract.
  
  May 2016 - Sep 2017, Arlen served in Jordan for a couple with five children aged 20, 17, 16, 12, and 3 at the time. Her responsibilities included cleaning, laundry, ironing, washing dishes, vacuuming, and even car washing for two vehicles. Most of the time, employer’s wife handled the cooking, sometimes Arlene prepared chicken adobo and chicken curry upon request. She found it challenging to adapt to the household lifestyle, and she had no private room and slept in the living room.
  
  Arlene is good at traditional Filipino dishes such as adobo, paksiw, menudo, dinuguan, aftritada, pancit, and coconut milk-based fish dishes, as well as spring rolls. She can also follow recipes to prepare other meals as needed.
