  Myka is inexperienced as helper, but she is keen to learn. As a daughter and sister, she looks after her family’s welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook the family meals, laundry, ironing and folding. For her future employment, she hopes to learn new culture and experience.
  
  Cooking                   
  
  She cooks Filipino dishes, such as adobo, sinigang, nilaga, afritada, butter shrimp etc.,keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.
  
  Childcare
  
  She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her nieces, nephews and siblings with special needs. She prepares their meals, bathe and change them with fresh clothing, accompany them for play activities, attend to and assist in their daily needs.
  
  Elderly Care
  
  She is keen to look after the elderly, and she looked after her grandmother before she passed on. She prepared her meals and fed her, attended to and assisted in her needs.
  
  Pet Care
  
  She is keen to look after pets and back home, she grooms and feed two dogs, and a cat, keep clean the pet areas.
  
  Hand phone
  
  She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.
  
  Off-day
  
  The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.
  
  2 years contract
  
  She is aware of the 2-year contract.
  
  Recommendation
  
  In summary, Myka is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
