  Julie Florida is a 40-year-old Filipino domestic helper and single parent to three children. While she has no prior overseas experience in domestic work, she is eager to begin employment immediately and is willing to take on additional tasks as required.
  
  Oct 2022 - Nov 2024. Philippines. For a Filipino family of four adults residing in a 5-room landed property. Her primary responsibilities included cooking, grocery shopping, running errands, housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and meal planning. She learned to cook through recipes provided by her employer and by researching online. She prepared a variety of dishes such as roast chicken with salad, baked salmon with honey mustard, chicken curry, stir-fried vegetables, pasta bolognese, spaghetti, baked macaroni, lasagna, grilled chicken, barbecue, and desserts like leche flan and banana cake. Her employment ended as the family no longer required full-time assistance.
  
  Jun 2021 - Sept 2022. Philippines. For a Chinese family with two boys, aged 3 and 8. Initially, the family resided with the employer\s parents in a three-storey house with a total of ten household members and a small dog. Her responsibilities included doing the laundry, preparing ingredients, and assisting their grandmother in cooking four dishes for dinner. After the family relocated to a new apartment, her duties expanded to include childcare and school-related support. She was responsible for bathing the younger child, assisting both children with their school essentials, and managing daily school drop-offs and pick-ups. In addition, she performed general housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and cooking meals including steamed fish, pancit bihon, stir-fried dishes, spaghetti, spring rolls, fried rice, and various soups. 
  
  Julie is also trained in caregiving and has completed a Caregiving course and holds a National Certificate from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). She can also tend to a small garden, growing vegetables and herbs such as tomatoes, squash, chili, eggplant, cilantro, basil, chives, ginger, and more.
