3 years 2 months (Jan 2014 – Mar 2017) as a helper in Taiwan
Joevelyn worked in an apartment with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Taiwanese family of 4 with an 85-year-old male with heart failure, and she looked after his welfare. Daily, she does cleans and tidy house, assist employer with marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car.

Returned home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in Taiwan.
5 years 8 months (Aug 2017 – Apr 2023) as a helper in Taiwan
Joevelyn worked in a 2-storey house with 5-bedrooms, 4-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Taiwanese family of 5 with a 90-year-old mobile female with heart failure, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she does cleans and tidy house, assist employer with marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car, tend to garden and plant watering. In all these, she learned to manage her work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

Cooking                 Â
She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In Taiwan, she prepared and cooked basic Taiwanese dishes, such as hong shao rou.
Childcare
She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. She prepares his meals, bathe, dress and get him ready for school, attend to and assist in his daily needs.
Elderly Care
She is keen to look after the elderly. In Taiwan, she prepared their meals, assisted to bathe and dressed with fresh clothing, administered their medications, accompanied them for medical check-ups and outdoor activities, attended to and assisted in their needs.
Pet Care
She is keen to look after pets and back home, she grooms and feed a dog, and 15 cats, keep clean the pet areas.
Hand phone
She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.
Off-day
The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.
2 years contract
She is aware of the 2-year contract.
