Oct 2019 - 2022 For a Singaporean family living in a three-bedroom condominium. The couple has two adult children, aged 22 and 20, who are currently staying overseas. She was responsible for all household chores, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, marketing, grocery shopping, car washing, and tending to a small pot garden. She also handled me,al preparation, cooking dishes such as steamed vegetables and fish, ABC soup, lotus soup, fried rice, buttered prawns, curry, and minced pork with tofu. She could easily follow recipes requested by the employers. Although Imelda renewed her contract with the family, she had to return to her home country due to the passing of her father.
Oct 2012 - Oct 2018 Imelda continued working for the same Singaporean family she previously served. The household consisted of a couple and their elderly father, who had difficulty standing and walking for extended periods and required daily assistance. Her elderly care duties included feeding, administering medications on time, assisting with bathing, preparing his personal items, and accompanying him in a wheelchair during outings. In addition, she managed all household chores such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, marketing, grocery shopping, and car washing. She also prepared meals like steamed vegetables, tofu, fish, congee, ABC soup, chicken noodle soup, and bak kut teh, chicken rice, broccoli with prawns and could follow recipe books for other dishes upon request. She completed her contract successfully.
Apr 2012 Oct 2012 - Imelda worked for the same Singaporean family, providing care for their bedridden elderly mother who sadly passed away after six months. She assisted the attending nurse with bathing and transferring the patient between the bed and wheelchair. Alongside caregiving, she handled various household duties, including cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, ironing, marketing, grocery shopping, and cooking. Remained with the same family after the elderly mother died.
Mar 2012 - Apr 2012 - Imelda worked for a Chinese couple with two children, aged 7 and 5, and the family\s elderly mother, in a three-bedroom flat. Her responsibilities included childcare such as bathing the children, preparing their lunchboxes, feeding them, and bringing them to school. She also managed household tasks such as cleaning, car washing, laundry, ironing, cooking, marketing, and other duties as required. She eventually requested a transfer due to lack of privacy, as she slept on a folding mattress in the kitchen, stayed up past midnight, and woke up at 5 in the morning.
Imelda cooks all time Filipino dishes such as pancit beejon, adobo, igado, sweet and sour pork, tinola, sinigang and more. She can clean and organize living spaces, handling laundry and ironing. Imelda is willing to take on childcare, elderly care, pet care, gardening, car washing, and such other tasks as maybe required. She is available to start work immediately.
