Margie Merly has working experience as a domestic helper both overseas and in the Philippines.
From 2012 to 2014, she worked in Oman for a Muslim family with four children—three boys aged 6, 9, and 14 years old, and one girl aged 15. The family lived in a 4-storey house with 6 bedrooms and 10 toilets. Margie was the only helper in the household. Her main responsibilities included attending to the children’s daily needs such as preparing meals, school uniforms, bags, and schoolwork. She also performed general household chores including mopping the floor, wiping windows, laundry, washing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the house. She followed her employer’s instructions carefully and served the family well.
From 2019 to 2021, she worked in the Philippines for a Filipino family with four boys aged 4, 10, 13, and 17 years old. They lived in a 2-storey house with 4 bedrooms and 3 toilets. Margie was again the only helper. She managed the children\s daily routine by preparing meals, school uniforms, and helping with schoolwork. She also organized their belongings, changed bed covers and curtains, and kept the surroundings clean. She had a good bond with the children, stayed focused on her responsibilities, and was happy to serve the family.
Margie’s special skill is hand sewing. Her hobbies include cooking, cleaning, and reading. She is willing to learn simple baking, and is also open to car washing, gardening, and pet care.
