  Shiela Mae has working experience as a domestic helper in Singapore from 2023 to 2024. Her first employer was a Chinese family living in an HDB flat with 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets. Her main duty was to look after the 4-month-old baby, which included tasks such as bathing, diaper changing, sterilizing baby utensils, and preparing milk formula. In addition to childcare, she also managed general household chores such as cooking, cleaning, ironing, laundry, and marketing. The family had one 7-year-old boy with autism. As the sole helper, she focused on providing consistent routines, clear communication, and patient care. She followed a structured schedule, used visual supports to aid communication, and was mindful of the child’s sensory sensitivities. Alongside caregiving, she handled household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  
  Shiela Mae’s special skills include hand sewing and bicycle riding. Her hobbies are cooking, reading, and cleaning. She is willing to learn simple baking and is also open to doing car washing, gardening, and looking after pets.
