  Cheradee is a 37yo Filipino domestic helper. Cheradee is currently a housewife and wishes to spend more time with her children before pursuing employment overseas. She is looking forward to work in Singapore to earn more money for her children.
  
  Apr 2018 to Jun 2024 (6yrs) Philippines: Cheradee was working in a Filipino Family with 4 children (age of 4yo, 6yo, 7yo & 9yo -all girls). Staying in an apartment with 2 rooms, only helper in the household. She took care of the children, and her duties included preparing food, reading storybooks, assisting to prepare for showers, preparing the child's school bag and uniform and bringing the children to school. She also managed in pet care (1 chihuahua) and all the household chores such as cleaning, washing, ironing, laundry, marketing and cooking. She is able to cook Filipino food such as adobo, pancit, menudo, chicken curry, pork stick, stir-fried vegetables and so on. She finished her contract and applied to Hong Kong.
  
  Jul 2024 to Jan 2025 (6mths) Hong Kong: Cheradee was working in a Chinese Family with 2 children (age of 3yo girl & 5yo boy). Staying in a flat with 2rooms, only helper in the household. She took care of the children, and her duties included preparing food, reading storybooks, assisting to prepare for showers, preparing the child's school bag and uniform and bringing the children to school. She also managed in all the household chores such as cleaning, washing, ironing, laundry, marketing and cooking. She is able to cook Chinese food such as chicken curry, fish noodles, steam fish, steam tofu, pork soup, pork with vegetables and so on.
  
  During our face-to-face interview in Manila, Cheradee shared that she worked as a caregiver, caring for an elderly man (age of 79yo) and an elderly woman (age of 84yo) in two different households, each for a period of six months. The elderly man was bedridden, and her responsibilities included changing diapers, assisting with bathing, and monitoring his blood pressure. In contrast, the elderly woman was in good health but required her blood pressure to be monitored every two hours. She is now ready to work abroad to earn more money for her children.
