  Mayryl is a 34yo Filipino domestic helper. If given the opportunity to work in Singapore, her aunty will take care of the children in her absence. Currently, Mayryl is a housewife, but she actively volunteers every Saturday to read to incoming Grade 2 students. Her live-in partner works in a factory earning a low income.
  
  Oct 2021 to Jan 2025 (3 years & 3 months) Kuwait: Mayryl was working in Kuwait for a family of 6 with 4 children aged newborn (girl), 4yo(boy), 8yo(boy)and 9yo (girl). The family stayed in an apartment with 2 bedrooms. Mayryl was the only housemaid. She was solely responsible for caring for the newborn baby girl and the 4yo boy. Her duties included preparing milk, changing diapers, bathing and dressing the children, preparing the child's school bag and uniform, and reading storybooks. She also slept with the children at night, where she handled night feedings for the baby.
  
  In addition to infant care, Mayryl managed all household chores such as washing, cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cooking. She also took care of a Persian cat, handling its feeding and cleaning. She successfully completed her two-year contract and extended her service for an additional 1 year and 3 months.
  
  Mayryl is now looking for a job to earn money for her family.
