  Both her sir and madam were working. From 1999 to 2001, she worked for a Chinese family with 2 children ages 10 & 11 staying in 3-room flat. Her last employment was with chinese family taking care the old granny has cancer and sumilah gives her medicine and attends to her daily needs. she also cooks and do general housekeeping. They stayed in a 4-room flat. Reproduced below is her previous employer's reference letter: " Sumilah has worked for me for 2 yrs. During this period, she took care of the household chores & cooking competently. She is also adept at looking at cookbooks for new recipes. As I am working,she would decide on the menu &also did the marketing every 2 days with the budget I gave her. Her language skills are good as she understands English quite well & also some Mandarin&Hokkien. Sumilah worked for another Chinese family with elderly folks, cleaning 2 houses till Feb 2010 before going back to Indonesia to take a break. She has also worked for a Chinese family with an elderly couple needing attention and their grown up daughter staying in a flat. She also take good care of the 2 dogs. Her duties is to give food and bathe the dogs. She loves the dogs very much. She take good care of the dog. Do household chores and cook for the family. Right now,Sumilah"s availability would be around end of September till first week of October because her employer wants to extend her stay in the family because the employer ask her to give them sometime to find for another maid.
