  Sri’s Work Experience as a Domestic Helper in Singapore and Overseas
  
  1. 20 May 2024 to 02 July 2025 – Singapore
  Sri worked for a Chinese-Malay family consisting of an elderly lady and her two adult daughters, living in a 3-room HDB flat. The household also had 9 cats.
  
  Her main duties included general housework, cooking, marketing, and caring for the elderly madam. Initially, the employer was in good health, but over time her condition deteriorated due to a stroke. She became bedridden with swollen legs and required full assistance, including bathing and diaper changing. The elderly lady weighed approximately 90kg, and Sri did her best to manage.
  
  Reason for leaving: Sri found it physically challenging to manage the employer’s increasing care needs due to her weight. The employer eventually decided to terminate her employment.
  
  2. 09 April 2024 to 09 May 2024 – Singapore
  Sri worked for a Malay family in a 3-room HDB flat, caring for a 78-year-old elderly grandmother. She was responsible for general housework, assisting with cooking, marketing, and supporting the grandmother’s daily needs.
  
  Reason for leaving: In addition to her assigned duties, Sri was asked to clean another house, which was not part of the original agreement. As it became too much for her to manage, the employment ended after one month.
  
  Previous Overseas Experience:
  
  Indonesia (2000 – 2004) – 4 years
  Sri worked for a Chinese-Indonesian family, taking care of a healthy elderly person while also doing general housework. She enjoyed caring for the elderly and developed strong skills during this time.
  
  Malaysia (2004 – 2007) – 3 years
  She then moved to Malaysia for better pay and worked for a Chinese family living in a 6-room condominium. The household included a couple, a healthy grandmother, and a 16-year-old son. Her responsibilities included general housekeeping, occasional cooking, and caring for the elderly grandmother.
  
  Cooking Skills:
  Sri enjoys cooking and is confident in preparing a variety of dishes. She is able to follow recipes well and is open to learning new dishes.
  Some of the dishes she can cook include: Steamed fish, tofu, or chicken, Chicken rice, Lemak curry, Sambal (various types), Mee Bandung, Laksa, Spaghetti (various sauces), Ayam Kurma, Sambal Hati Pengantin, Many others.
  
  Sri is passionate about elderly care and prefers to work in households that require elder support.
  She is hardworking, respectful, and willing to learn.
  She enjoys cooking and preparing meals for the family.
  
  Expected Salary: $650 per month
  Off Days Requested: 1 Sunday off per month and Muslim public holidays.
  Availability: Currently in Indonesia. Ready to come back to Singapore as soon as the paperwork is completed. Available for video interviews by prior arrangement.
