  Novalor is a 28-year-old domestic helper with local employment experience in the Philippines. While she has no prior overseas experience, she has a background in household management and childcare.
  
  Feb 2022 – Dec 2025. For a Filipino family in a 3 storey landed property with 5 bedrooms. The household consists of the couple, their 2 children, aged 23 and 14. Novalor was responsible for household management, including cooking, cleaning, vacuuming, grocery shopping, marketing, doing the laundry and ironing. She also took care of the family\s pet, one Shih Tzu and two cats, did car washing for the three vehicles, and gardening which includes tomatoes, petchay, chili, rosemary, basil and some ornamental plants. She is experienced in preparing dishes, particularly Filipino and vegetarian dishes such as stir-fried vegetables, steamed dishes, spring roll, grilled meat or fish, chicken curry, pancit beejon, menudo, paksiw, sinigang, caldereta, and pasta with red or white sauce. She also has basic baking skills and can prepare muffins and cupcakes.
  
  Apr 2019 – Mar 2020. For a Korean–Filipino family with two children aged 10 and 2, residing in a two-bedroom landed property. She was employed on a live-out arrangement and worked daily, except on her designated day off. Her responsibilities included general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, ironing, and gardening, as well as childcare. While the employer’s wife handled most of the cooking, Novalor prepared school lunchboxes for the older child and assisted with dressing, bathing, and organizing school essentials. For the younger child, she was responsible for bathing, feeding, and managing nap schedules. In addition to childcare, she also assisted with gardening and supported her employer in cooking, particularly vegetarian dishes. Her employment ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
