Bernadeth has several years of experience in domestic work in the Philippines. She served as an all-around helper, responsible for general household duties such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, and other tasks as instructed by her employer. During this period, she was also allowed to continue her studies while working. She is working for another Filipino family, living in a two-bedroom apartment with a couple and two young children, aged 3 and 1. Her duties include general household chores as well as caring for the children, attending to their daily needs, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
With her hands-on experience and formal training, Bernadeth is proficient in household tasks such as cleaning, washing and ironing clothes, dishwashing, and cooking. She can prepare Filipino dishes and is eager and willing to learn other cuisines to better serve her future employers.
At present, she is employed as a helper while waiting for selection for employment in Singapore. Upon selection, she will undergo a one-week in-house private training in Manila accredited by TESDA, followed by the OWWA seminar, before the processing of her Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) for deployment.
