  From 2017 to 2023, Marivic worked as a housemaid in the Philippines for a Filipino family with one child, a 2-year-old girl. They lived in a bungalow house with 2 bedrooms and 1 toilet. She was the only helper in the household. Her main responsibilities included taking care of the child, such as bathing, changing clothes, assisting in toileting, giving medicine, and preparing milk. She also handled various household chores, including cooking, cleaning, ironing, laundry, mopping the floor, and wiping windows.
  
  From 2023 to 2025, Marivic worked as a domestic helper in Qatar for a Muslim family with four children—two boys aged 11 and 21, and two girls aged 12 and 21. Her employer stayed in an apartment with 5 bedrooms and 5 toilets. There were three Filipina helpers in the household. Marivic’s primary duty was to look after the 11-year-old boy, including preparing his school things and school uniform. She also performed additional housework such as cooking Filipino food for the boy occasionally, cleaning, ironing, and laundry.
