New maid
Elyn worked as a Domestic Helper in Kuwait from 2010 to 2020 for a Kuwaiti family with three children, all girls. When she started, the children were a newborn baby, a 2-month-old infant, and a 3-year-old child. The family lived in a 4-storey house with 3 bedrooms and 3 toilets, and she was the only helper in the household. Her main responsibility was taking care of the children, especially the babies. She handled bathing, diaper changing, toileting, preparing and feeding milk formula, sterilizing baby bottles and utensils, and putting the children to sleep. She also sent and fetched the 3-year-old child to and from school, prepared school uniforms, arranged school bags, and assisted with assignments. After six years, her employer gave birth to another baby, and Elyn was fully responsible for the newborn’s care until the child turned 5 years old. Aside from childcare, she also managed household chores such as cooking, cleaning, ironing, and laundry.
From 2022 to 2024, Elyn worked for another Kuwaiti family with five children—two boys aged 8 and 2 years old, and three girls aged 6, 11, and 13 years old. The family lived in an apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets, and there were two Filipina helpers working together. Her main duty was to look after the 8-year-old boy who has Down syndrome. She assisted him with bathing, toileting, changing clothes, preparing food, and giving close supervision in his daily routine. She also supported the household by doing cooking, cleaning, ironing, laundry, mopping, dusting, and changing bed covers.
From 2024 to 2026, she continued working in Kuwait for a family with five adult children living in a 3-storey house with 9 bedrooms and 4 toilets. There were several helpers in the house, and her main responsibility was household chores, including cooking, cleaning, ironing, laundry, washing dishes, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the home.
Elyn’s special skills include bicycle riding and hand sewing. Her hobbies are cooking, cleaning, reading, and doing housework. She is willing to learn baking, car washing, and gardening, but she does not prefer to look after pets. She prefers to work for Chinese families, Indian vegetarian families, or Indian non-vegetarian families.SkillsLanguage Skills English Evaluation
