She joined the family when the employer’s wife was about to give birth and helped care for the child, who is now 10 years old. When the child was two, she managed full-time childcare, including bathing, feeding, diaper changing, school drop-off and pick-up, accompanying the child to the playground, and attending tuition and playdates. In addition to childcare, Rochelle handled household duties such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, marketing, and grocery shopping. She can cook dishes including butter chicken, daal, sabjee, chapati, paneer, roti, biryani, pasta, and egg sandwiches. She is able to follow recipes from cookbooks and online resources. Her employment ended when the family no longer required her services.
